There was no doubt about it, the Cayuco Club needed a face lift desperately. So a group of cruisers put on thier thinking caps and started to talk color schemes. We tossed around tipico colors of the maya, caribbean, or a two-tone palette.
After the color scheme was chosen we started to pick where specific colors would go. This was done in a most scientific manner...the colors where written on pieces of paper and put in a basket and picked at random and assigned to areas.
The sign-up sheet was posted and a free BBQ and 2 days of slippage offered and sure enough we had 24 people ready to start painting.
Beth and Cindy start looking at colors
None of this would have been possible without our new owner's support. He was generous in his compensation, time, and money.
The palette is chosen.
Before we cracked the cans open and started the all day painting marathon. What a time we had. Great People making light of a big task with smiles on their faces.
Only the young nimble ones can do this kind of work.
